Our Story
Haley and Logan’s story began on March 3, 2023, at Browne and Lowe in the River Market. Their first date was marked by an instant connection—an evening filled with stories, laughter, a first kiss, and the milestone of Logan finally learning how to spell “Hochstatter.”
Fast forward to late July 2025, when the pair set off on a backpacking adventure through the Colorado wilderness. On the third morning, they woke before dawn to beat the crowds to a hidden waterfall. After a grueling, mile-long ascent gaining 1,000 feet in elevation, they reached the summit alone. As they took in the breathtaking views of the cascading water and the uniquely green lake below, Logan knew the moment was perfect. He quickly set up his camera, reached for the ring he’d been hiding, and dropped to one knee. Through the mist of the falls, she said yes.
